I want to focus on one thing, just one. Papa had integrity. I never gave it much thought until this week. Perhaps integrity is something you only notice when it's missing. Similar to how in sports the best referees fade away - you only notice them when they are bad. The best server in a restaurant is unremarkable because they realize it's not about them, it's about the guest. Papa was that way with integrity. He was there, always. Not one time do I remember him not following through with something he said he would do, not once. If he agreed to something, he would do it, without fail.
